Aug 12, 2022 · By ferry: From Corfu, Greece, ferries run daily to Saranda, then buses run regularly between Saranda and Ksamil. The ferry ride takes about 1.5 hours. I think renting your own car is the best way to get to Ksamil. You get the freedom of going at your own pace, and you can visit anywhere that’s a short drive from Ksamil.

But as a backpacker, it’s also where all the hostels are and where you’ll meet other travelers to party and explore Albania with. A day trip to Butrint National Park is a must, followed by some fresh seafood in Ksamil before heading back to Saranda to experience the nightlife.
